Asclepias incarnata Ice Ballet Seeds, commonly known as Butterfly Milkweed or Swamp Milkweed features enchanting creamy white-lime dome shaped umbels comprised of thousand of tiny 1/8" inch flowers clustered together that float a top 36" - 40" inch strong straight multi-branched stems. As the name indicates, all the varieties in the Milkweed family are super pollinator attractants and the primary food source for butterflies. You will be totally captivated by the buzz of activity as hummingbirds dart about and swarms of bees and butterflies float among the tufts of flower goodness. Asclepias is tolerant of damp to wet soil and prefers full sun. If left to self seed, in meadows and open pastures this plant will naturalize beautifully. This long blooming, flowering perennial plant grows to 36" inches, is well suited for zones 3 to 9 and is a worry free easy keeper. Excellent cut flower variety. Packet: 50 seeds.
