White Dill Bishop's Flower is the original Queen Anne's Lace, well loved for its snowy white umbels of clustered micro flowers and sturdy individual stems with considerable length ideal for cut flowers. This variety is one of the earliest bloomers in the Ammi majus family bringing on a delightful show in early spring and pumping out the blooms through the long summer months as a cut-and-come-again variety. Bishop's Flower is not invasive, however it is a prolific producer and therefore self seeds readily. Easy to grow, plants mature to 48" inches tall and create interesting textural elements to garden-scapes of all themes and styles. Hardy to zone 3, Bishop's Flower is considered a "cool flower" and is ideally planted in the fall to bring on an early display of beauty at the first signs of spring and be an excellent source of nourishment for pollinator and beneficial insect garden friends. Packet: 100 seeds.

Pollinator Favorite: Attracts a variety of garden friendly pollinators including hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and beneficial insects such as lacewings, ladybugs, minute pirate bugs, syrphid flies, and parasitic wasps.

Caution: Gloves and protective clothing recommended when handling this plant as its milky sap may cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals. Please exercise caution when harvesting, handling, trimming, or composting. Purchasers accept all liability for proper handling of this item.
