White Dill Bishop's Flower is the original Queen Anne's Lace, well loved for its snowy white umbels of clustered micro flowers and sturdy individual stems with considerable length ideal for cut flowers. This variety is one of the earliest bloomers in the Ammi majus family bringing on a delightful show in early spring and pumping out the blooms through the long summer months as a cut-and-come-again variety. Bishop's Flower is not invasive, however it is a prolific producer and therefore self seeds readily. Easy to grow, plants mature to 48" inches tall and create interesting textural elements to garden-scapes of all themes and styles. Hardy to zone 3, Bishop's Flower is considered a "cool flower" and is ideally planted in the fall to bring on an early display of beauty at the first signs of spring and be an excellent source of nourishment for pollinator and beneficial insect garden friends.
