Description

Details

Black Krim Tomato is an treasured heirloom variety that is admired for its very dark maroon to dark-brown coloring, meaty interior flesh and sweet, rich, traditional tomato flavor. This beefsteak type is excellent for slicing, salads, sandwiches and cooking. Originated in Crimea, a peninsula in the Black Sea, this variety is a heavy producer and withstands heat and some humidity well. Also called Black Crimea and introduced to SSE by Lars Olov Rosenstrom of Sweden. Sun exposure and heat will darken the fruit color. An excellent choice for those who love to create colorful dishes with exceptional flavor! 80 days. Packet: 40 seeds.
