Details

Bright Lights Swiss Chard is the champion of all the brightly colored Swiss Chard varieties as it features a captivating festive rainbow of orange, crimson, purple, gold, pink, red, white and variegated combinations of pastel color stems with lightly savoyed, elongated dark-green leaves with colored veining. An All-American Selection Winner, this fascinating variety was bred by the late amateur breeder from New Zealand, John Eaton. Expect excellent disease and bolt resistance across all colors. These colorful beauties produce thin stems with tender leaves on 20" inch plants. Brighten any corner of your garden or patio space with these attractive upright plants. Somewhat frost sensitive, this crop is best field grown from spring to fall and as a greenhouse crop in the winter in cold climate zones. 50 days. Packet: 100 seeds.
