Details

Cinnamon Bouquet Basil is an outstanding, fast growing basil that produces gorgeous vibrant violet flower bracts with an intoxicating cinnamon aroma. This dynamic herb is a triple crop favorite for its traditional use as a plant herb; edible flowers that can be used to flavor food or drinks and as a gorgeous garnish topper; and as a wildly popular cut flower, favored by floral creatives for its unique aroma and beauty. As an herb, the leaves have an intense basil flavor with mint undertones and cinnamon top notes. This easy to grow favorite produces well formed bushes that average 24" to 30" inches tall. Flower bracts will form on the tips of the vertical sprigs surrounded by rich green basil leaves. Commonly interwoven into vegetable gardens for its natural pest repellent qualities as a guard plant (excellent to protect tomato plants), interestingly this variety remains a hot spot in the garden for pollinators. Cinnamon Basil grows well in just about any well drained area that gets moderate to full sun, including patio containers, window boxes, hanging baskets and garden patches. Regular deadheading will keep new bracts forming and increase the plant's production throughout the season. Packet: 100 seeds.
