Cortaderia fulvida, commonly known as Nodding Pampas Grass, features whimsical, fluffy, fawn pink plumes that emerge in early summer on 30" to 36" inch stems and turn to cream as the season progresses. The plumes have a dramatic "nodding" effect with loose arching heads that make all the plumage gently hang downward which is different from their more recognizable upright cousins. This dwarf variety of Pampas Grass is ideal for smaller gardens with more confined spaces. Plants grow in clumps with tapered elongated blue-green blade type leaves. This blooming perennial is hardy to zone 7 and should be grown as an annual in colder climates. UltraClean seed. Packet: 25 seeds.
