Evergreen Bunching Onion is an heirloom, open pollinated variety that is a scallion type bunching onion. This cold hardy variety can be fall planted to overwinter for an abundant early spring crop of scallion goodness. Evergreen Bunching produces a petite bulb and short shank that gives way to a plentiful bunch of long tubular "leaves" that are stalk like. All parts of the plant are edible and widely used for flavoring soups, salads, casseroles and as a delicious mild flavored garnish topping. 120 days. Packet: approx. 250 seeds.
