Iceberg Lettuce is well known for its mildly sweet juicy flavor and crisp crunchy texture. By far the most popular crisp head lettuce variety. Grow tightly wrapped, large, light green heads that blanch into a creamy silvery white center that are heat tolerant and well suited for zone 4 to 9 gardeners. This long loved heirloom variety was introduced in 1894 and has been a staple crop for gardeners world wide.
