Details

Marketmore 76 Cucumber is an heirloom standard that is as popular as it is prolific! This variety produces 9" inch slender dark green fruits with a refreshing crunchy texture, sweet, non-bitter flavor and perfect slice-ability! Marketmore 76 is the cucumber benchmark of the Northeast. Expect robust growing vigor and season long productivity from this ever popular fresh market variety. The original Marketmore cucumber was developed at Cornell University in 1968 by Dr. Henry Munger. In 1976, Dr. Munger released the particularly vigorous open pollinated strain of Marketmore and it remains a garden growing favorite today due to its impressive disease resistance to scab, cucumber mosaic virus and mildews. 66 days.
