Merlot Lettuce is a beautiful heirloom burgundy loose-leaf type variety featuring "fizzy edges" on prominently savoyed (ruffled) leaves. Crisp, open 6" to 8" inch heads are lightly frost tolerant, mildew resistant and slow to bolt. Merlot can be harvested in baby-leaf stage or grown to full size heads.
