Peony Poppy Venus is a part of the Papaver paeoniflorum perennial poppy family. Dramatic 4" to 5" inch flower blossoms have frilly lacerated petals in mass. Add an explosion of show stopping salmon colored poms to an area of your garden wherever you desire to put on a show! Use this ornamental variety to punctuate color boundaries, add an explosive pop of color to garden beds or in a mass planting where a large color swath is desired.

Although they are short lived as cut flower blooms, if properly processed they can give up to 3 days of vase life. Well worthy of growing in your garden for their beauty and dual purpose as blooms and seed pods.

These easy to grow, sun loving plants grow 30" to 36" inches and If left overwinter they will self-sow seed and reappear come spring. Hardy to zone 3. Seeds need to be cold stratified to germinate. Packet: approx. 200 seeds.
