Peony Poppy White Cloud is a stunning bread seed poppy that features magnificent 4" to 5" inch crisp white fully double flower blooms comprised of a mass of layered, crinkly petals. Resembling floating white clouds dancing in the wind, these blooms are a true garden treasure! Once you add them to your garden, you will want to grow them again and again-in all the colors. Not only do they have an intoxicating beauty in the garden when in bloom, they bring an encore performance after they shed their petals with their interesting seed pods. Oblong pods are highly sought after by floral creatives for use both fresh and dried.
Although they are short lived as cut flower blooms, if properly processed they can give up to 3 days of vase life. Well worthy of growing in your garden for their beauty and dual purpose as blooms and seed pods.
These easy to grow, sun loving plants grow 24 to 30" inches and produce 6 to 12 flowers. If left overwinter they will self-sow seed and reappear come spring. Seeds seeds need to be cold stratified to germinate properly. Hardy to zone 3. Packet: approx. 200 seeds.
