Description

Details

Poppy Ladybird is an easy to grow, cold hardy annual garden charmer. Striking color-saturated red blooms have distinctive patterned black-blue on the interior center of the petals. A welcome pollinator attractant for butterflies, moths and bumble bees, Ladybird is an excellent flower for creating a vibrant pop of color to any garden bed.

Recipient of the British Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit, this cut-and-come-again variety is a cottage garden staple. Prolific bloomers, the 18" to 22" inch plants send up two or more dozen blooms creating a camera worthy display when planted in mass. Also makes an excellent cut flower when properly processed, even if short-lived in the vase.

Planted in well-drained moist soil, if content, it will freely self-sow seed and return again to delight you next season. Packet: 100 seeds.
