Poppy Pandora, commonly referred to as the European Corn Poppy, is part of the Shirley Poppy family. This exceptional new variety produces luxurious blooms in a rich moody ombre tonal color story. Sultry burgundy red to muted deep rose pink colors are modulated by silver-grey stripes throughout the petals. Wiry stems are topped with 3" to 4" inch flower rosettes that appear to have a matte papery texture. This long blooming variety is sure to take your breath away when planted in mass or across landscape swaths where you want to create intrigue or visual interest in your garden.

Although short lived as a cut flower, this does not seem to curb the demand or desire of floral creatives who are entranced by the color palette of this cool season beauty. Regularly deadhead spent blooms to prolong the flower parade throughout the season. If leaves are left to fall, the seed pods are a darling dark-mocha color and excellent for textural garden interest or used as an everlasting floral. Plants grow to 36" inches. Packet: 100 seeds
