Details

Primula japonica Redfield Hybrids, commonly known as Japanese Primrose, is an eye-catching mixture of perennial candelabra Primulas in bold fuchsia-reds and showy candy colored pinks that are sure to bring a cheerful pop of color to any moist garden location! The single stems reach 18" to 20" inches tall and are comprised of clustered umbels of dozens of micro blossoms. This Japanese native marsh plant species has become a North American garden favorite as a decorative planting around water features, ponds, stream edges and boggy locations as it thrives in wet soil conditions. You can expect a display of outstanding color from early to mid summer. Hardy to zone 4. Can be used as a cut flower. Packet: 25 seeds.
