Details

Rudbeckia hirta Autumn Colors produces an autumn rainbow of 5" to 6" inch, mostly single petal blossoms in an array of eye catching colors. Colors include golden yellow, mahogany-red, bronze, caramel and rust with a deep chocolate inner ring and black button cone center. This variety gives us all the "fall feels"! Blooms begin at the start of summer and hit their stride come early fall when many other varieties have begun to fade. This flowering perennial is a Fleuroselect winner and makes an outstanding cut flower with strong straight stems and irresistible color combinations ideal for adding an antique flare to any arrangement. Plants grow 20" to 24" inches with attractive dark green leaves, thriving in well drained, moist soil and full sun. This dynamic mix is a welcome addition to garden beds, border planting and patio containers for its stunning visual interest - a guaranteed garden attraction! To colonize garden beds, allow spent blooms to stand in fall and self sow seed freely. Hardy to zone 3, this variety is an easy keeper, notably deer resistant and attracts friendly pollinators. Packet: 50 seeds
