Details

Rudbeckia hirta Goldilocks is a Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner for good reason! Plant breeder, Ralph Gould, after 12 years of diligent trials, created a fantastic first year flowering biennial. These fabulous fully-double Black Eyed Susan flowers have elegantly layered fringed petals punctuated with a handsome raised mahogany-brown center eye. Free branching stems are topped with fully layered 3" to 4" inch ruffled blossoms that captivate! Their tidy plant habit makes cutting a breeze. Its distinctive characteristics make it an exceptional cut flower. Well formed plants grow to 24" inches tall, are notably drought tolerant and thrive in most soil types in a wide range of climatic conditions. They make an excellent addition to pollinator gardens with their bright yellow coloring. Goldilocks is well suited for containers, window boxes and garden plantings of all types. Packet: 50 seeds.
