Sunflower Vincent Choice Deep Orange DMR, scientifically known as Helianthus, is a specialty, production level, pollen-less sunflower. Genetically bred to bloom in just 55 days and with Downy Mildew Resistant (DMR), it is well suited for professional cut flower growers and home gardeners alike. Vincent's Choice Deep Orange DMR F1 hybrid produces uniform, bright golden orange flowers that have well elongated overlapping petals with blunt tips in a double ring surrounding deep chocolate colored centers on vigorous strong stems. The petal color is slightly darker than the original Vincent's Choice. Flowers form at a 45 degree angle on sturdy stalks for superior presentation. Deep Orange DMR is one of the most well loved of all the sunflower varieties due to its traditional appearance.

A high germination rate, short crop cycle and tight flowering window make it possible to schedule dependable succession planting cycles. Bred as a high performance crop, this variety is less sensitive to day length for greater flexibility in programming, allowing growers to produce high quality crops early, mid and late season. Although our trials have shown there is better height under short days, they do not do not get too tall under long days either. Plants grow from 36" to 48" inches tall.
