Butterhead Lettuce, also known as Bibb Lettuces are mild flavored and have soft smooth textured ruffled leaves that form "loose lettuce heads." Our large selection of Butterhead Lettuces are available in a colorful gourmet varieties including bronze, red, bright golden, ruby and brick, in addition to the traditional emerald green. We have trialed these offerings and selected the best Butterleaf Lettuce by the following standards; flavor, quality texture, heat resistance, slow to bolt and attractive appearance. We offer heirloom and hybrid Butterhead Lettuce varieties in full head and miniature size options.
